Urbanscape Architects

Before commencing any project, a conscious effort is made to be sensitive towards the site, the occupants, and the materiality; the consequence of which are efficient and effective designs. Our inspiration comes with an unrelenting zeal to constantly take on new challenges so that each project is explored and executed differently.

Urbanscape Architects’ studio is a reflection of the designers’ tendency for a strong identity amidst the singular aesthetics of Shahpurjaat. A facade of exposed burnt brick provides a sense of continuity, a commercial storefront giving way to a central entrance that leads to the workspace above. On the exterior, an Alstonia tree is visually integrated into the levels, accessible by a separate staircase in stone and concrete-lined with wooden panels. The space is filled with contextually curated artwork and installations such as Aditi Garg’s sculptures that were inspired by the cover of Pink Floyd’s Division Bell, and Vibhor Sogni’s ‘Master Stroke’ adorns the entire wall. A seamlessly revealed spatial feel features a rustic yet contemporary ambiance by a mix of earthy and refined materials. Scroll down to read the studio’s candid explanation of the space.
