Amit Goyal – Panipat: Taking four years to buy and merge six plots of 900 sqyd to make it a single plot of 5400. Sqyd in the city shows the enthusiasm of our client who wanted to build a contemporary minimalist home for his family of four.
The requirements were all catered on ground and part of first floor and a family room floating somewhere in the middle creating our own version of a Verandah below. The intent was to appreciate and enjoy the landscape from multiple levels.
The entire residence becomes an extension of the ground and the landscape where after each block the courts would penetrate the building. The concept was to be part of nature and not draw boundaries between the built and the unbuilt form.
A gym and spa block were deliberately distanced from the main building so that the user get to enjoy the landscape connecting the two.
The landscape provides a perfect opportunity for providing space and ambience for aqua meditation, daily/ informal sitting by the water body, party sect etc.
